  22. Description of Working Group:
  23.      The SNA NAU Services MIB Working Group is chartered to define a
  24.      set of managed objects for PU type 2.0, and LU type 1, 2, and 3
  25.      devices for SNA networks.  These objects will be the minimum
  26.      necessary to provide the ability to monitor and control those
  27.      devices, providing fault, configuration, and performance
  28.      management, and will be consistent with the SNMP framework and
  29.      existing SNMP standards.

  31.      The working group will consider existing enterprise-specific MIB
  32.      modules that define objects which support management of these
  33.      devices.  It will also make sure that its work is aligned with the
  34.      SNA DLC Services MIB WG, due to the close relationship between the
  35.      devices being worked on by the two groups.

  37.      The working group recognizes that managed objects for other
  38.      components (e.g., PU Type 4, PU Type 5, LU Types 1, 3, 4, 6.2
  39.      (APPC), APPN EN, APPN NN and APPI) may need to be identified in
  40.      the future.  These objects are out of scope for the current
  41.      charter; however, once the working group completes its charter, a
  42.      new charter identifying some or all of these components may be
  43.      considered.

  47.    Jul 93 Begin discussion of proprietary MIBS and develop a single proposal.

  49.    Oct 93 Post an Internet Draft of the SNA NAU Services MIB.

  52.           Proposed Standard.
